 2025-05-28 After a rough opening quarter for the referees in the 2025 Euroleague final, which included errors in judgment and questionable game management, the officiating mostly settled down for the remainder of the game. However, there was a rough patch in the middle of the 3rd quarter and again near the end.
 2025-05-24 During and after their 2025 Final Four semifinal loss to Fenerbahce, 82-76, Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens expressed some unhappiness, to say the least, with the officiating. As covered by BasketNews, Panathinaikos owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos aggressively confronted the referees at halftime of the Panathinaikos-Fenerbahce semifinal game.
