Sanli has represented Barca for two years. He is offered a new deal with lower pay.
FC Barcelona are currently in negotiations to renew the contract of center Sertac Sanli, albeit with a lower salary, as reported by RAC1.
Sanli joined the Catalan club in the summer of 2021 from Anadolu Efes Istanbul.
Initially signing a two-year deal, Sanli has secured the 2022 Copa del Rey and the 2022-23 ACB League titles during his time with the Catalans.
This past season, the 31-year-old center averaged 7.3 points and 3.4 rebounds in the domestic league, while his EuroLeague averages marked 6.2 points and 3.1 rebounds.
Standing at 2.12 meters, Sanli is a valuable asset for Barca, as he is able to knock down threes on a regular basis. He shot 40.0% from downtown in the ACB League over 38 games and converted 26.5% of his three-point shots in the EuroLeague.
As the Spanish club awaits a decision on the future of James Nnaji, who was drafted 31st overall by the Charlotte Hornets, Oscar Da Silva and Jan Vesely are the only confirmed pieces in the front line for the upcoming season.
Both Sanli and Mike Tobey are currently without contracts, while Nikola Mirotic's departure is inevitable.
