On Tuesday, after scoring 23 points in an Israeli League game against Ironi Kiryat Ata, Jokubaitis was asked if he plans to stay with Maccabi next season.

"Yes," he replied, nodding his head.

In this EuroLeague season, the Lithuanian playmaker averaged 12.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.0 steals, and 15.6 PIR over 28 games (24 starts).

Jokubaitis signed a three-year deal with Maccabi last summer, keeping him under contract through the 2026–27 season. He had been close to signing with Zalgiris Kaunas before ultimately choosing Maccabi.

Reports suggest that Zalgiris remains interested in him.
