According to the league's disciplinary ruling, Splitter engaged in actions that caused the "abnormal interruption of a game," violating Article 27.2.a of the EuroLeague Disciplinary Code.

The incident unfolded during a tense Game 2 at Ulker Sports and Event Hall in Istanbul. With Paris struggling to keep pace against a determined Fenerbahce side, frustrations boiled over late in the second quarter.

Splitter vehemently protested a series of officiating decisions he believed were inconsistent, leading to a heated exchange with the referees. His reaction ultimately halted the game temporarily as officials sought to restore order.
