Hapoel's owner Ofer Yannay revealed his team's ambitions for the future in the Storm for Kingdom show:

"We want the Euroleague Final Four. It won't be easy, but we have Dimitris Itoudis, he knows what's necessary. Whole Europe is excited to see are we going to break the ice and get to, and maybe even win the Final Four."

"I feel like we are outsiders, maybe not compared to Maccabi, but compared to Real, Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, we surely are."

Yannay then threw a hit at Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, saying they were never as ambitious as he is:

"I don't think Maccabi was ever as ambitious as we are right now. Only equivalent in terms of ambitions would be Maccabi from 2003 to 2010."

"I also think they were never as focused on our community which is very important to me," Yannay added.

Yannay also talked about some of the biggest superstars in Europe potentially joining:

"Wade Baldwin, no problems, we can bring him easily, TJ Shorts, could bring him if I want to, not sure if I want to though, I can't bring Sasha Vezenkov, he's Olympiacos' star under contract," Yannay said.

"I don't believe in Walter Tavares, I think he belongs to the past time for basketball," Yannay claims.

"Of course I thought about Kostas Sloukas but that would probably cause problems with Giannakopoulos. He's nearing the end of his career and I want players that we can work with for next 3 years," Yannay concluded.
