This title is especially meaningful for Fenerbahce's head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius, who captured his first long-awaited EuroLeague championship after five previous unsuccessful attempts in the Final Four.
"It feels amazing," Jasikevicius said after the game. "I've been chasing this trophy for a while now, had a lot of heartbreaks, I stuck with it, and these guys got the job done."
Reflecting on the journey with Fenerbahce to win the title, he acknowledged the challenges but emphasized the importance of team unity.
"It was difficult at times," he said. "But we found a way to stick together. We went through tough stretches and managed to survive certain parts of the season. I believe since January we've played really good basketball."
