The 30-year-old guard, who rejoined the Reds in 2023 after previous stints with the club and Real Madrid, announced his departure with a heartfelt message to fans. He has agreed to join Zalgiris Kaunas for the 2025–26 season.

“Goodbyes are never easy,” Williams-Goss wrote on social media. “Coming back to Greece was like coming home for me and my family. I started my EuroLeague career here and then had the opportunity to wear this special jersey for a second time.”

The American playmaker began the 2023–24 season as one of Olympiacos’ primary ball-handlers, playing a crucial role in Bartzokas’ rotation despite coming off the bench for stretches. His experience, calm under pressure, and perimeter defense made him a reliable two-way contributor.

In the 2024-25 campaign, he averaged 8.6 points, 3.4 assist, 1/8 turnovers, and 8.6 in PIR.

Despite the frustrations several injuries and the team coming up short at the EuroLeague Final Four in 2024 and 2025, Williams-Goss made clear in his farewell that he has no regrets.

“In this game you will experience great joy when you win and a deep pain when you lose – but the pain of regret is the worst pain of all,” he wrote.

“And I can rest my head knowing that I don’t have any. I prepared myself and gave everything I had for this organization, every day both on and off the court. Criticism or praise—my work, my focus, and my commitment never changed. And this I am most proud of.”

Williams-Goss also emphasized the human side of his journey in Greece, expressing gratitude to his teammates, staff, and the Olympiacos fan base.

“To anyone I may have crossed paths with during my time here, I hope you felt the respect and appreciation that I carry with me,” he wrote. “God has filled me with so much light and I truly feel the responsibility to shine that on others.”
