Agent Misko Raznatovic has responded strongly to Olympiacos Piraeus head coach Giorgos Bartzokas recent criticism of Filip Petrusev, particularly the claim that the Serbian forward did not want to play alongside Sasha Vezenkov.

“There is no better way to refresh the memory of forgetful people than to call in the numbers for help!" Raznatovic posted on X (formerly Twitter).

"Box scores from Greek Super Cup final 2024, where Petrusev played great with Vezenkov, without watching on the side and won the trophy!" the agent added with a screenshot of a box score.

In that game, Petrusev recorded 18 points and 8 rebounds, while Vezenkov posted 20 points and 4 rebounds. Olympiacos won the trophy with both players contributing on the floor — contradicting Bartzokas’ narrative that Petrusev distanced himself once Vezenkov arrived.

Misko Raznatovic also added a strong message defending Filip Petrusev, saying, "This clarification was truly necessary, because Filip Petrušev genuinely felt affected by the false statement made about his attitude and relationship toward playing for Olympiacos!"

Alongside his statement, Raznatovic shared a photo with the text: "We have a new King Louis XIV of France, but this time in Greece. Louis said, 'I am the state,' and now we have somebody saying, 'I am the Club!'"

"If a player feels that the coach is not using him properly, not giving him the playing time he deserves, and not communicating with him adequately, that doesn't mean he doesn't want to play for the club. He just wants to avoid being coached by that coach again, but if that's unavoidable, he will come to terms with it," he added.

While speaking to Gazzetta, Raznatovic made it clear that Filip Petrusev has no intention of returning to Olympiacos as long as Georgios Bartzokas remains the club’s head coach, firmly shutting the door on any possible reunion under the current leadership.

Earlier, Bartzokas had taken a firm stance on Petrusev's time at Olympiacos.

“This has nothing to do with his class, talent, or how we treated him. If you ask me, I treated him like my own son, with a lot of love and care. And suddenly, as soon as Vezenkov arrived, his behavior was to look away, walk around the court, and so on.”

After parting ways with Olympiacos, Petrusev has thrived at Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade. He averaged 14.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game in the EuroLeague this season.
