Sergio Scariolo appeared to take a jab at other coaches, most likely Ergin Ataman, while congratulating Sarunas Jasikevicius on winning his first EuroLeague title with Fenerbahce.
Former Spanish national team and long-time EuroLeague head coach Sergio Scariolo might have taken a jab at other coaches with a message congratulating Nicolo Melli, Sarunas Jasikevicius, and the rest of Fenerbahce on winning the EuroLeague title.

"My most sincere congratulations to Fenerbahce: players (especially to Nicolo Melli!), club, staff, fans," Scariolo wrote on X.
"And the biggest one to Saras, who proved one more time that coaches who coach, not just handle, are those who lead teams to excellence," he added.
This message most likely could be interpreted as a shot at Panathinaikos head coach Ergin Ataman, who is known for letting his players make key decisions on the court and for being more of a great manager than a tactical mastermind.
While Ataman has won three EuroLeague titles in the past five years, this was Jasikevicius' first championship as a head coach, after five unsuccessful Final Four appearances.
