Barcelona has reportedly signed Myles Cale from Trento, who averaged 10.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game this season in the EuroCup.
After an extremely disappointing end to their season, FC Barcelona is already moving quickly to strengthen their roster for next year.
According to Jose Ignacio Huguet of Mundo Deportivo, the club has reached an agreement to sign American forward Myles Cale.
The 26-year-old, 1.98m forward has attracted significant attention from several EuroLeague teams this season thanks to his strong performances in both the EuroCup and the Italian League with Dolomiti Energia Trento.
In the EuroCup, Cale averaged 10.7 points (shooting 54.2% on two-pointers and 31.4% from beyond the arc), along with 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
His numbers in the Italian League were even better, posting 11.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game while shooting an impressive 44% from three-point range.
This signing is reportedly Barca’s second for the upcoming season, following earlier reports of another Italian League standout, Tornike Shengelia, joining from Virtus Bologna.
