The 30-year-old French big man, standing at 2.13 meters, is set to sign a two-year agreement.
He will join Rolands Smits on a newly built Efes frontline for the 2024-25 season.
Anadolu Efes will also pick up Derek Willis' option for the next season, and are close to extending Daniel Oturu, sources tell BasketNews.
This EuroLeague season, Poirier averaged 9.0 points (68.1% 2P, 40.0% 3P), 5.3 rebounds, and 1.5 blocked shots in 18 minutes per game.
Despite his playing time, Poirier led the EuroLeague in blocked shots with 54.
In the ACB, he posted averages of 8.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks while playing less than 19 minutes per game.
In his debut EuroLeague season, 28-year-old Willis has averaged 7.3 points on 44.4% 3-point shooting and 3.7 rebounds in 23 minutes.
Oturu, 24, joined Efes mid-season, and had an instant impact, averaging 7.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 0.9 blocked shots in 15 minutes of play.
